Located countryside, and it was quiet even if the hotel locate near the road. The large park in the hotel and good for morning walking. Hotel staff are kind as well as friendly dogs. The dinner in the hotel was fine.
It was quiet, in a parklike setting. Nice terrace outside the room. Lovely breakfast room with good, plentiful food.
Large comfortable rooms. Good parking opportunities at the site. Valley of Temples in short driving distance.
The location: The hotel restaurant were closed one evening and we had 10 minutes by car to the nearest restaturant. Prices in hotel's own restaurant were a little high in compared to the quality.
Easy access to Valle dei Tiempli.
The staff at the front desk did not properly explain the dining option which was included in the price. We were surprised when we were sent to a different restaurant in San Leone. The food was very good but there was way too much to eat!
Close to main roads and the valley of temples and only a stone throw away from the city of Agrigento. It is also close to the sea and beaches of San Leone.
Well situated for site seeing the Valley of the Temples in Agrigento
Hotel should not be called "Resort", as it offers no resort amenities. Bathroom was flooded each time a shower, and air-con was leaking water. Restaurant food was of poor quality, and ran out of breakfast tea-bags during our 3 days stay. Drive-in entrance area is muddy.
Ideally situated for the Valley of the Temples, lovely rooms, a good breakfast but its four stars reflected Sicilian rather than international standards.
Friendly dog roaming round the breakfast room and kitten in the restaurant at dinner time - too much of a rustic feel for a four star hotel!
We enjoyed our stay for two nights. We came to see the temples but the staff told us about the Turkish Steps which we also visited and admired. The hotel was comfortable and well laid out.We liked the grounds. There was a splendid view of the temples lit up at night. The hotel was very well placed for the temples.
The price of food and drink was on the high side.A swimming pool would have been appreciated. We did visit the sister hotel to look at its pool, but it was not very inviting so we left it.the hotel was difficult to find even with the satnav.
The hotel is in a great location for the Archeological ruins. The rooms were very clean and quiet. The evening meal we had at the restaurant was excellent.
The bathroom was not well set out - a spacious room, but nowhere to put anything and the ceiling above the shower over the bath was so low that anyone who is not petite couldn't stand up straight.
We stayed here for ne night because of the proximity to the local archaeological sites. It was very comfortable and a good way to start our holiday in Sicily.
Food an wine though very good was pricey.
We like the fact that it was quiet and out of the city and that there was no problem with parking. it was very restfull and we liked the common room very nice to sit and relax and read. We also loved the dogs they made it feel like home also the kitten.
hotel was comfortable, clean, foods were OK,
they are slow ( as usual in Italy), Outside of buildings ( garden, car park) needs some care ) overal ; it is OK but would be better
Restaurant was good. Waiting staff were extremely pleasant.
Unable to pay in cash for our stay as there was no change available. This was a minus in a hotel this size. The excuse was that the previous person checking out used cash also! In the end we paid cash and used the debit card for the balance.
The desk staff when we arrived was very helpful with directions to restaurants, the archaeological park, and a particular type of store we needed. The gentleman was even willing to make a phone call for us, without our asking. I also particularly liked the setting and landscaping of the Demetra, which is surrounded by orchards, fields, and flower gardens, so it was lovely to step outside the room onto the terrace that runs around the building and see beautiful trees and tumbles of bright red and gold flowers. The hotel is in a convenient location for visiting the archaeological park but is set off by itself away from town.
The hotel is on a road that runs near a major thoroughfare, so there is a bit of traffic noise. But not enough to disturb our sleep, even with the terrace door open, or enjoyment of the facility.
